Vietnamese cooking was my first foray into the world of cooking Asian food. Vietnamese food is unique, with many recipes based on texture, colour and flavour, which is hot, sour, sweet and salty. Texture and colour are held in as high esteem as the balance of flavours, and almost any Vietnamese recipe makes a truly beautiful assembly of treats for all of your senses.
